Curriculum for Berkys Day Care 2 in Islip Terrace

At Berkys Day Care 2 in Islip Terrace we take pride in our curriculum that combines learning and fun. We develop and prepare age-appropriate activities for each child. Subjects that will be reflected in daily schedule are as follows: "Circle time", arts & crafts, music, kid friendly technology, story time, math, spelling/handwriting, playtime, homework, educational projects, exercise, outdoor/indoor play and much more. Topics and curriculum are discussed with staff the day before. In addition, each staff member plans for the individual needs of the children in their group. Our student : teacher ratios are as follow, 12 children : 2 teachers; 16 children : 3 teachers. 

Because of theses points we feel that we are able to provide the best of both worlds...learning and fun, all in one!
