Hi, my name is Cynthia Duran, owner and day care provider at Berkys Day Care 2 in Islip Terrace. I have years of experience working with children of all ages and needs. I am a mother of three children ages 8, 7 and 4. The name Berkys is my mother's name and since she is also a day care provider I decided to honor her by naming my day care after hers. After all, a mother is your first teacher and protector therefore I felt the name of my day care should reflect just that.
